5,000 NFT heroes (and the game they inhabit) are about to land on the Solana blockchain.
The Project
We’re a team of game industry veterans minting a set of 5,000 amazing NFTs inspired by classic comic book heroes, each one unique and richly detailed. On Solana, of course, because the low gas fees make it the ideal place for play-to-earn games. These NFTs are not mere jpegs, of course, they’re characters you can play in an actual, already-built web-based RPG. This is not a vaporware game we’re making vague promises to build someday, it’s a nearly-complete actual game with tons of content, and it will be open shortly after the mint. The Heroes
Our mint will include two base characters – one male and one female – with hundreds of different variations for hair, skin, headgear, facial hair, masks, uniform items, boots, accessories, auras, and even pets (both natural and supernatural). No two will be alike. Some will look like superheroes, some like alien cowboys, and others like mad professors. Some will include attributes that are rarer than others, and some will be epic. For you numbers geeks, we’ll be publishing a detailed rarity table.
And because these characters can be played in the Comic Book Heroes game, each will be granted a superpower that you’ll find in the metadata, and will have a unique URL linking to additional attributes that can be built-upon in the game. If you decide you want to sell one of these NFTs, its game progress goes along with it.
The Game
Comic Book Heroes is a browser-based classic strategy RPG in which you can build up your hero’s skills, superpowers, and gear however you choose. If you create a valuable character through hard work and good choices, you’re free to sell this NPC on the open marketplace along with all its achievements. The game revolves around rich comic book storylines, a robust skill tree, a wide range of superpowers, and specialized gear that can be equipped and swapped. And most important: PVP battles with other heroes. Play solo or join a league, compete in long and short-term live tournaments, and work your way up leaderboards as you level up and grow stronger. This is going to be fun.

The exhibitions are produced by UMoMA in collaboration with artists and museums around the world and they often attract international attention. UMoMA has received a Special Commendation from the European Museum of the Year, and was among the top candidates for the Swedish Museum of the Year Award as well as for the Council of Europe Museum Prize.
